“Perk” arrived in Oklahoma City at the trade deadline last February and made his Thunder debut nearly three weeks later. He appeared in 17 games and immediately established his defensive presence. The Thunder was 13-4 with Kendrick in the starting lineup. He set a Thunder record by pulling down a combined 31 rebounds in back-to-back games in April.

Breakfast: Bacon, egg and cheese, toasted, from Sonic.

“I remember one Christmas when I was 8, I got my first basketball goal that was 10-feet. When I was 11, I remember getting my first video game, the Sega Genesis."

“Well, I can already fly, though I may not fly long. I'd rather be invisible. That's the coolest thing ever. You can eaves drop, be nosy, be in places you're not supposed to be. Imagine being invisible. That's pretty cool."

“I went with Rumble and Brian Davis to a school and we donated a basketball court to that school.”
