HOW TO ENTER: To enter, e-mail Seattle SuperSonics radio play-by-play voice David Locke at AskLocke@Sonics-Storm.com and explain why you should join Bob Blackburn and David Locke for lunch during the SuperSonics Training Camp on October 5, 2006. E-mails must be received between 3:00 Pacific Standard Time (“PST”) on September 30, 2006 and 6:00 PM PST on October 3, 2006. Early or late submissions will be deemed void. No purchase necessary. Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries from any person and/or duplicate entries will be deemed void. E-mails must be submitted in English and e-mails on any topic other than the topic above shall be disqualified.
JUDGING: One (1) winning entry will be selected by David Locke on October 3, 2006 or October 4, 2006. The winning entry will be selected based equally upon the following criteria: originality, creativity, persuasiveness, and relevance of e-mail to the topic. The decision of David Locke will be final and binding upon all contestants. Odds of winning are dependant upon the number of eligible entries submitted.
GRAND PRIZE: The author of the winning entry (the “Winner”) will receive lunch for two (2) with David Locke and Bob Blackburn at the Sonics & Storm Training Facility (The Furtado Center) on October 5, 2006 (the “Grand Prize”). The approximate retail value of the Grand Prize is Fifty-Dollars ($50). No substitution, cash equivalent, assignment, or transfer of the Grand Prize is permitted by either party, except at the Sonics sole discretion to exchange the Grand Prize for another prize of comparable or greater value. Winner must be available to attend lunch on October 5, 2006 at The Furtado Center. Winner and guest are responsible for their travel expenses to and from The Furtado Center on October 5, 2006.
PRIZE REDEMPTION: Only the Winner will be notified. Winner will be contacted by a Seattle Sonics & Storm representative via telephone call or email on October 4, 2006, between 9:00 AM PST and 5:00 PM PST. Winner must accept prize by 6:00 PM PST on October 4, 2006 by providing verbal or e-mail notification of their acceptance to the Seattle Sonics & Storm representative who contacted them. In the event the Winner cannot be contacted, fails to accept in a timely manner, or declines the Grand Prize, an alternate winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries.
ELIGIBILITY: Contestants must be legal residents of the State of Washington and eighteen (18) years of age or older to enter. Employees of the Seattle SuperSonics (“Sponsor”), the Seattle Storm, The Basketball Club of Seattle, LLC, The Women’s Basketball Club of Seattle, LLC, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., the Women’s National Basketball Association and its Teams and Operators, WNBA Enterprises, LLC, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, distributors, advertising and promotional agencies, their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are NOT ELIGIBLE. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winner.
