For the staff, the young women and the family that took the court at Chesapeake Energy Arena on Wednesday night during the Thunder regular-season finale, last November probably never felt so far away – or so near.

The Oklahoma State University Cowgirls' story this season has epitomized both tragedy and triumph, both loss and togetherness, but it culminated with two joyous moments: winning the WNIT tournament in late March, and being honored as the Devon Energy Community Heroes for April during the Thunder game.

OKLAHOMA CITY, Wednesday, April 25 – The Oklahoma City Thunder today announced events for home games of Round 1 of the NBA Playoffs outside Chesapeake Energy Arena. The Playoffs begin this weekend, and the NBA will release the Playoff schedule later this week. Beginning three hours prior to tipoff, fans will be able to attend the new Love’s Thunder Alley. This free block party will include new features such as more interactive games, concessions, a FOX Sports Oklahoma broadcast stage, Playoff merchandise and more.
