Patiently sitting cross-legged on the sidewalk, the second graders at Cross Timbers Elementary in Edmond admired the blue, white and orange paint on the Thunder-themed bus outside of their school. When they walked on the bus one-by-one on Friday, their amazement only increased.

OKLAHOMA CITY, September 20, 2012 – The Oklahoma City Thunder will hold their annual media day on Monday, Oct. 1st at the Thunder Events Center located at 14701 N. Lincoln Blvd in Edmond, OK.

All Thunder players and Head Coach Scott Brooks will be available to the media beginning at 1 pm. Any media with special needs or requests should contact the Thunder Basketball Communications department prior to media day.

Reggie Jackson slapped the floor as he got into his defensive stance. Cole Aldrich slid into help-side position while still watching his man. In the blink of an eye, Jackson swiped at the ball, made a steal then flung an alley-oop pass to Aldrich for a slam dunk.

Oklahoma City, Tuesday, Sept. 18 – The Thunder announced that the team will be holding auditions for the Rain Drops on Saturday, Oct. 6 at the Thunder Events Center.

Presented by Trochta’s, the Rain Drops – the team’s junior dance squad – have become a fan favorite at home games, with young fans ages 7 to 12 showing off their talents with a variety of dance routines.
