Rebounding has been the name of the game in this series, and despite the Lakers having an advantage on the glass overall in the series, the Thunder has done a good job of getting them when they count and limiting the number the Lakers can get. Center Kendrick Perkins had five rebounds in the fourth quarter alone in Game 4, and Head Coach Scott Brooks said that type of effort will be needed again in Game 5.

Thunder forward Nick Collison and Head Coach Scott Brooks addressed the media this afternoon following shootaround in preparation for Game 5 tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Both Collison and Brooks talked about the focused mentality necessary to win a potential close-out game. The Thunder, up 3-1 in the best-of-seven, second-round series, will need its “A” game tonight and to be locked in mentally.

“We’re ready for another tough, physical game,” Collison said. “We know we have an opportunity to close out the series, but you can’t do that unless you play well.”
