Wins in the NBA are the result of an accumulation of small moments, extra efforts and performance at the margins.

Heading into training camp, the Thunder believes that its players, coaching staff, training staff and the organization as a whole have capitalized on its offseason opportunities to develop and grow. By returning 12 of 15 players from the 2011-12 squad, the Thunder and General Manager Sam Presti believe that the requisite continuity is in place for the team to have made collective, team-focused strides in the offseason that will pay dividends during the season.

Patiently sitting cross-legged on the sidewalk, the second graders at Cross Timbers Elementary in Edmond admired the blue, white and orange paint on the Thunder-themed bus outside of their school. When they walked on the bus one-by-one on Friday, their amazement only increased.

OKLAHOMA CITY, September 20, 2012 – The Oklahoma City Thunder will hold their annual media day on Monday, Oct. 1st at the Thunder Events Center located at 14701 N. Lincoln Blvd in Edmond, OK.

All Thunder players and Head Coach Scott Brooks will be available to the media beginning at 1 pm. Any media with special needs or requests should contact the Thunder Basketball Communications department prior to media day.
