Oklahoma City, Thursday, Oct. 18 – The Oklahoma City Thunder will once again partner with the Tulsa-based Folds of Honor Foundation to raise funds to benefit the families of soldiers killed or disabled in service to their country. Special Thunder Cares collection buckets will be distributed throughout the BOK Center during Friday night’s sold-out preseason game against the Phoenix Suns, and the Thunder will contribute an additional $10,000.

Coming out of Wednesday night’s opening preseason game against the Houston Rockets, Head Coach Scott Brooks wanted to see better positioning, boxing out and execution on the defensive glass.
In Hidalgo, Tex. two nights ago the Thunder allowed 21 offensive rebounds, but in tonight’s game against the Utah Jazz, the Thunder allowed only four offensive rebounds in the first half. The Thunder ultimately fell to the Jazz 97 to 81, but Brooks sent 11 different players into the game, distributing the minutes and testing new lineups.
OKLAHOMA CITY, October 12, 2012 – The Oklahoma City Thunder hired Mike Wilks as a Pro Scout and Amanda Green as Basketball Operations Coordinator/Legal & Administration in addition to promoting Paul Rivers to Director of Basketball Operations, Will Dawkins to Director of College Player Personnel and Brandon Barnett to Director of Minor League Operations/Pro Scout, it was announced today by Executive Vice President and General Manager Sam Presti.
