Thunder To Host Watch Parties in Bricktown

OKLAHOMA CITY, Thursday, April 15, 2010 – The Thunder, in conjunction with the Bricktown Association, will host the official Thunder playoff watch parties in Bricktown beginning with road Game One on Sunday, April 18, at 2 p.m. CDT. Seven Bricktown venues will broadcast the games and offer a variety of Budweiser drink specials as fans watch the Oklahoma City Thunder take on the Los Angeles Lakers.

Fans are invited back to Bricktown on Tuesday, April 20, at 9:30 p.m. for the second game of the series. In addition, each participating restaurant will be visited by Rumble and the Thunder Girls and have the chance for fans to register to win Thunder home playoff tickets.

  • Brix Restaurant & Sports Lounge (27 East Sheridan Ave.)
  • Coach’s (20 South Mickey Mantle Dr.)
  • Purple Bar (Nonna’s - 1 South Mickey Mantle Dr.)
  • Rooster’s (115 East Reno Ave.)
  • Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill (310 Johnny Bench Dr.)
  • Tapwerks (121 East Sheridan Ave.)

Recently, many Bricktown merchants and businesses have displayed their support for Thunder Basketball with window paintings, signs, lighting and even specialty drinks.
