Air Thunder Televison Show Debuts Tonight

OKLAHOMA CITY, Monday, Dec. 1, 2008 – The Oklahoma City Thunder will debut a new weekly magazine television show entitled AIR THUNDER beginning tonight. The 30-minute weekly show is made possible through the Thunder’s partnership with INTEGRIS Health, the official health care provider of the Thunder. The show will air on both of the Thunder’s TV partners, KSBI-TV and FOX Sports Oklahoma.

The show provides Thunder fans a different and unique inside look at the team and the organization. The focus is to go beyond the court and allow fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of an NBA franchise.

“Our goal with the Air Thunder magazine show is to provide a unique look at our team, beyond the basketball court,” said Ken Adelson, the Thunder’s Senior Vice President & Executive Producer. “This show will help the fans get to know our players and our organization. We’re tying the organization to the community and we have many stories to tell. The show will have a different look from traditional sports magazine shows, and we believe Thunder fans will enjoy it.”

The show is hosted by the Thunder’s sideline reporter Brent Weber and airs every Monday at 6:30 p.m. on KSBI 52, Thunder TV (Cox Channel 9 in OKC). The show will also air on FOX Sports Oklahoma (Cox Channel 37 in OKC) before the “Thunder Live” pregame show on Tuesday or Wednesday night, whichever day has a game scheduled. The entire Thunder broadcast team of Brian Davis, Grant Long, Brent Weber and Matt Pinto will also be regular contributors to the show.

“INTEGRIS Health has a long history of serving the community and we are very excited about this partnership,” said INTEGRIS Health President and CEO Stanley Hupfeld. “As the exclusive health care provider for the Oklahoma City Thunder, we have the opportunity to encourage healthy, active lifestyles that will last a lifetime.”
