Thunder Unveils Summer League Uniform to Benefit Tornado Relief

OKLAHOMA CITY, July 5, 2013 – The Oklahoma City Thunder will wear a special uniform during summer league competition to honor those impacted by the May tornadoes, it was announced today by the Thunder organization.

The Thunder will debut the jersey during the Orlando Pro Summer League on July 9, when the Thunder faces off against the Detroit Pistons. Oklahoma City will don the commemorative jersey for all of its home contests during summer league competition.

The uniform was designed to represent the strength and resiliency of the Oklahoma community and the jersey features an outline of the state of Oklahoma, with a Thunder logo in the center.

The Thunder’s contest versus Detroit on July, 9 will be carried live on NBA TV, NBA.COM and the NBA Summer League mobile app.
