Thunder to Participate in NBA Summer League

OKLAHOMA CITY, June 22, 2009 – The Oklahoma City Thunder is one of 21 NBA teams participating in this year’s NBA Summer League presented by EA Sports in Las Vegas, it was announced today. Oklahoma City will play five games taking place at the Thomas & Mack Center and the COX Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Oklahoma City's 2009 NBA Summer League begins on Sunday, July 12 vs. Memphis, followed by a matchup with L.A. Lakers on Tuesday, July 14. The Thunder will then play three-consecutive contests: Thursday, July 16 vs. San Antonio; Friday, July 17 vs. Chicago before concluding play with Dallas on Saturday, July 18.

Oklahoma City’s full summer league roster will be released when it becomes available.

Tickets for the 2009 NBA Summer League Presented by EA SPORTS are on sale and can be purchased by calling 702-739-FANS, through UNLVtickets.com or by visiting the Thomas & Mack Center Box Office and UNLV Ticket Outlets. All general admission tickets are $25 for the day, Seniors are $15 for the day and children two years & under are admitted free of charge.
