MidFirst Bank to Show Thunder Fans the Money

OKLAHOMA CITY, Wednesday, December 31, 2008 – The Oklahoma City Thunder and MidFirst Bank have teamed up to bring back to the Ford Center the popular “Show Me the Money” promotion that encourages fans to show MidFirst credit cards, debit cards, checkbook covers or homemade signs during a designated timeout for the chance to win $200. The in-arena contest will debut on Friday, Jan. 2 during the Thunder vs. Denver game. “MidFirst Bank is a leader in this community, and a great partner of the Oklahoma City Thunder,” said Vice President of Business Development John Croley. “We’re pleased to work with MidFirst Bank to bring back the very popular Show Me the Money promotion for Thunder fans of all ages to enjoy.” In addition to the MidFirst Show Me the Money promotion, MidFirst also sponsors the MidFirst Bank Shot Contest that gives one lucky contestant the chance to complete a lay-up, free throw and half court shot for more than $20,000. The MidFirst Bank T-Shirt Ticker, which awards everyone in a random section with a T-shirt, has become a crowd favorite also. In October the Thunder announced MidFirst Bank as one of its five Founding Partners for the 2008-09 season.
