New Thunder Shop to Open Wednesday

The new and expanded Thunder Shop, the official team store of the Oklahoma City Thunder, will open its doors to the public on Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m. A ribbon cutting featuring Rumble the Bison and Thunder Girls will commemorate the occasion.

Highlights of the new store include 2,000 square feet of space (nearly twice as large as previous arena store), expanded variety and selection of items (four times as much merchandise), expanded apparel lines for women and children, and daytime hours on non-game days.

Wednesday’s event is open to the public. Fans shopping during the first week (Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) will have a chance to obtain game tickets by spending $100 or more (while supplies last). Those spending $25 or more on those days will get free parking underneath the Cox Convention Center.

The store at the bottom of Leadership Square will remain in operation.
