Thunder To Host Playoff Festivities on Sunday

Last-minute tickets, doors open at 7 p.m., game on big screen outsideOKLAHOMA CITY, Friday, April 15 – On Sunday, the Oklahoma City Thunder will take on the Denver Nuggets at the Oklahoma City Arena in Game One of their NBA Western Conference Playoff series. Tipoff is set for 8:30 p.m. and Thunder Alley festivities on Reno Ave. will begin as early as 5:30 p.m.

A final batch of 200 tickets will be awarded at the Thunder Rewards Zone outside the arena at 7 p.m. Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. and will last two hours. The raffle will award 25 pairs of tickets, and another 75 fans will win the chance to purchase the remaining 75 pairs of tickets. Please note that arriving early will not increase the chances of winning.

Thunder Alley, a free pregame block party, will begin at 5:30 p.m. Fans can enjoy live music, interactive games and a sports court, purchase playoff merchandise in a mobile Thunder Shop and enjoy appearances by the Thunder Girls and Thunder Drummers. The “Thunder Live” show on FOX Sports Oklahoma will broadcast live outside the arena beginning at 7:30 p.m. Fans are welcome fill up the plaza and watch the show.

For fans not attending the game, the Thunder will show the FOX Sports Oklahoma broadcast live outside the arena for free on a big screen TV. A limited amount of bleacher seating will be available. Fans are also encouraged to bring their own seating. The Budweiser Beer Garden will be open outside for extended hours, through halftime, to accommodate fans watching the game outdoors.
