Thunder 8-Game Tickets Packages Go on Sale Monday

Oklahoma City, Sept. 10, 2010 -- Thunder fans will have the opportunity beginning 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13, to buy 8-game ticket packages for the upcoming 2010-11 season of Thunder Basketball. Fans can choose among four ticket plans, all of which boast strong value and include games balanced throughout the regular season.

To buy an 8-game package, phone (405) 208-HOOP or go online to thunder.nba.com.

Each package has a marquee game, such as the Oct. 27 Opening Night matchup against the Chicago Bulls, the Nov. 7 game vs. the Boston Celtics or the Feb. 27 game vs. the Los Angeles Lakers. A fourth plan features weekend or holiday games in response to tremendous interest from Thunder fans statewide.

“We are pleased to provide our loyal fans with another opportunity secure great seats for the season ahead,” said Thunder Senior Vice President Brian Byrnes. “But I would urge fans interested in an 8-game package to reserve it quickly. Seating is limited because of our sizable full-season ticket base.”

The packages -- “Big Blue,” “Pioneer,” “Thunder Pride” and “Weekend” -- are a savings from single-game ticket prices, ensure the opportunity to own your seat for each game and include a dedicated Thunder representative to assist in day-to-day management of the account.

Byrnes added that the 8-game packages are the last chance for fans to secure seats for games throughout the season.

“Single-game tickets will only be available for the first half of the season when they go on sale early next month,” he said.

Prices for the packages start as low as $80 per pack.
