Thunder Girls Finals Set for Tuesday in Bricktown

The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the final round of auditions for the 2009-10 Thunder Girls on Tuesday, July 21. All fans are invited to attend and watch, as the dancers compete for a spot on the team. At the end of the evening, members of the 2009-10 team will be announced, including two who will compete for the final spot on the team as the "People's Choice" Thunder Girl. Following Tuesday's finals, fans will be able to visit thunder.nba.com and vote for their favorite “People’s Choice” Thunder Girl.
More than 100 dancers from as far away as Japan and California participated in the open auditions, held today at FireLake Grand Casino in Shawnee. Judges narrowed the talented group down to approximately 40 ladies for Tuesday's finals.
