Thunder's Rain Drops Auditions to be Held Saturday, Aug. 28

Oklahoma City, Aug. 23 – The Oklahoma City Thunder will hold open auditions Saturday, Aug. 28, for its junior hip-hop squad, the Rain Drops. Girls and boys between the ages of 7 to 12 who love to dance and want to be part of Thunder excitement are encouraged to audition at the Ford Center tryouts, which begin that Saturday at 9 a.m.

“The Rain Drops are a key part of the Thunder commitment to family entertainment,” said Thunder Events & Entertainment Director John Leach. “It’s also a fun way for children to participate in the excitement and enthusiasm of Thunder Basketball.”

There are 15 slots to fill on the Rain Drops, who are presented by Trochta's Flowers & Greenhouses. Registrations forms are available for download at Applicants at the audition are encouraged to bring something to eat and drink.
