2011-12 Preseason Schedule
OKLAHOMA CITY, August 18, 2011 – The Oklahoma City Thunder will play a pair of home games at the Chesapeake Energy Arena as part of a seven-game preseason schedule leading up to the 2011-12 NBA regular season, the team announced today. In addition, the Thunder will host preseason home games in Wichita, Kansas and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
As part of the Thunder’s 2011 Training Camp, Oklahoma City will open the preseason with a road contest in Utah vs. the Jazz on October 12 before making the team’s preseason home debut at the Chesapeake Energy Arena vs. the Charlotte Bobcats on October 14. The Thunder will then travel to Dallas to face-off against the Mavericks on October 16.
Oklahoma City will continue its preseason schedule by hosting a pair of games vs. the New Orleans Hornets at the INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita on October 17 followed by the Thunder’s annual preseason trip to Tulsa to take-on the Denver Nuggets at the BOK Center on October 21. The Thunder will round-out exhibition play with a road game in Phoenix vs. the Suns on October 25 followed by the preseason finale at the Chesapeake Energy Arena vs. the San Antonio Spurs on October 27.
Information on ticket sales for the home preseason games will be released at a later date.
