Thunder Announces 2010 NBA Playoff Schedule

OKLAHOMA CITY, April 15, 2010 – The eighth-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder will play the top-seeded Los Angeles Lakers in the First Round of the 2010 NBA Western Conference Playoffs, it was announced today.

The series will begin in Los Angeles with Game 1 taking place on Sunday, April 18 at 2:00 PM (CT). That will be followed by Game 2 on Tuesday, April 20 at 9:30 PM (CT). The series will then shift to Oklahoma City for Games 3 and 4. Game 3 will take place on Thursday, April 22 at 8:30 PM (CT) and Game 4 on Saturday, April 24 at 8:30 PM (CT). If necessary, Games 5, 6, and 7 will be played at alternating sites beginning with Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 27 followed by Game 6 in Oklahoma City on Friday, April 30 and concluding with Game 7 in Los Angeles on Sunday, May 2. The game times for Games 5, 6, and 7 will be determined once the games become necessary.

Games 1-4 will be broadcast nationally on ABC (Game 1), TNT (Games 2 and 3) and ESPN (Game 4). Additionally, Games 2-4 will be broadcast regionally on FS Oklahoma and all games can be heard on the Thunder Radio Network, led by WWLS The Sports Animal. ESPN Radio will also carry Games 1 and 4.

Thunder Season Ticket Members were offered an opportunity to reserve home playoff tickets during the season ticket renewal process. A limited number of remaining single-game tickets for the Thunder’s first two home playoff games go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 16 at 10:00 a.m. at all Ticketmaster outlets. Fans are encouraged to visit thunder.nba.com at that time to order tickets online. They can also be purchased at (800)-4NBA-TIX, the Ford Center Box office and metro area Homeland stores.
