The Sonics dropped a hard-fought six-game series to the San Antonio Spurs in heartbreaking fashion. With Game 6 tied at 96 in the closing seconds, Manu Ginobili found Tim Duncan for a layup off glass with 0.5 seconds left. When Ray Allen's desperation 3 attempt at the buzzer missed, the Spurs won the game and the series. But even with Vladimir Radmanovic playing only nine minutes in the series before suffering a sprained right ankle and Rashard Lewis missing the last three games with a sprained left toe, the Sonics pushed the Spurs nearly to their limit in a performance that was a testament to their heart.
