Along with General Manager Rick Sund and the Sonics amateur scouts, Director of Player Personnel Dave Pendergraft met with the Seattle media Friday to discuss Tuesday's NBA Draft. Here's a collection of some key lists Pendergraft discussed:
For the past two seasons, Pendergraft has shared with local media before the draft his "fear list" - players he's scared of passing on because of their potential but scared of selecting because of their potential downside.
"My fear list mostly is about inconsistencies in effort," Pendergraft explained. Because of the depth of this draft and where the Sonics are picking, Pendergraft isn't as fearful.
"We're comfortable at 25," he said. "There's not a lot of guys on that fear list."
Pendergraft did name two players:

Blatche
|
Andray Blatche:
I couldn't get him to come in and visit. He might fall. He's inconsistent every time I watch him play. Sometimes he's really good, sometimes he's not. I saw him play five times this year and probably practice another five times. He could be somewhere between Dwight Howard or Kwame Brown.
Kennedy Winston:
I'd be fearful of taking him, but I'd be fearful of letting him go because he's got an NBA in-between game.

Robinson

Luther Head
Julius Hodge
Mile Ilic
Ersan Ilyasova
Jarrett Jack
Linas Kleiza
Nate Robinson
Wayne Simien
Roko Ukic
Kennedy Winston
"I could put another five guys in there," Pendergraft added.

Head

Luther Head:
He's really, really improving.
Julius Hodge
Alan Anderson
A couple of those could affect us. A couple of those guys, the fact that they went from second-round guys to now late first-round guys, I think that helps us. They helped themselves in Chicago, they came in here and they helped themselves with individual workouts.
Antoine Wright:
I hear he's falling a little bit. I don't think he'll fall to us.

McCants
|
Rashad McCants:
I don't think he'll fall to us.
Hakim Warrick:
I hear he's really falling. He was never someone I felt any comfort level in getting.
Sean May:
I hear he's falling a little. I think he's a talented joker. I think he's a top-ten guy, and I hear he's falling down into the 20s.
Chris Taft:
I hear he's really falling.
