Mascot Mania Hits OKC Arena on Saturday

OKLAHOMA CITY, Thursday, Jan. 20 – The Thunder will host Mascot Mania during Saturday’s game vs. the New York Knicks. For one night only, Rumble and eight fellow NBA mascots will entertain fans and perform during halftime, all to celebrate Rumble’s birthday.

NBA mascots scheduled to join Rumble on Saturday include: Grizz (Memphis Grizzles) The Gorilla (Phoenix Suns), Slamson (Sacramento Kings), Stuff (Orlando Magic), The Coyote (San Antonio Spurs), Crunch (Minnesota Timberwolves), Bear (Utah Jazz) and Boomer (Indiana Pacers).

The mascots have an acrobatic dunk show planned for Saturday’s halftime and will also parade their crowd-favorite inflatable costumes.

In addition, Rumble and three of his friends will start the festivities early on Friday night and perform between the Edmond North-Edmond Memorial High School boys and girls basketball games.
