Each day THUNDER.NBA.COM will take a look at one of the top draft prospects in the June 25 NBA Draft. Today, we’ll take a look at Wake Forest forward James Johnson.

Johnson made ample adjustments to his game from his freshman to sophomore seasons at Wake Forest. He trimmed back on his three-point attempts, shored up on defense and improved his handle, according to scouts and experts.

Johnson averaged 15.0 points on 54.2% shooting to go with 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.5 blocks per game, despite being the No. 2 option for the Demon Deacons. He led Wake Forest in rebounding in each of his two seasons. Johnson, who holds a martial arts background in kickboxing, has a seven-foot wingspan to go with an 8’9 ˝” standing reach.
