Seattle SuperSonics players were outspoken in their support for Bob Weiss to become the next head coach of the Sonics. Here's a sampling of what they've had to say:
"I love Coach Weiss. He's great. He's been around basketball a long time. He knows this game inside and out. I think he does a good job of relating to the players. If Coach Weiss was the coach, that would be great, because I love Coach Weiss. I love him as a person and I love him even more as a basketball coach."

"He'd be my No. 1 vote. He's well-deserving. He's paid his dues. I think a lot of us can relate to him. ... Now, it might not happen for him, but I'd be very comfortable with Bob Weiss as my coach."

"We all know Coach Weiss, so there's that comfort knowing what he's about and he knows us. From what I can gather, and I don't really want to speak for anybody else, but I'd guess most everybody feels that way."
