Seattle SuperSonics legend Slick Watts, former Seattle Storm Forward Alicia Thompson and Sonics forward Rashard Lewis’ mother, Juanita Brown will present monetary and in-kind donations to hurricane relief organizations on Monday, Oct. 17 in Houston, Texas. More than $75,000 was collected through the Sonics & Storm T.E.A.M. Foundation’s hurricane relief efforts last month.

St. Martin’s Episcopal Church of Houston, Texas will be the recipient of $10,000 in addition to food and supplies valued at $15,000.

The Southeast Texas Disaster Relief Fund of Beaumont, Texas will receive $25,000. Beaumont is the hometown of Rashard Lewis.

These donations are in addition to the $10,000 and food and supplies valued at $15,000 given to the Streams of Life of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
