If you’re a singer and would love to perform the National Anthem live before a crowd of thousands, the Oklahoma City wants to hear from you -- literally. For consideration, applicants need to send the Thunder a performance résumé and an electronic mp3, WAV file or CD of their singing the National Anthem. Deadline for submissions is Thursday, Sept. 23.
The Thunder will host final auditions Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Ford Center for aspirants wanting to perform the National Anthem before a game during the 2010-11 season.

Finalists will be notified before the Sept. 25 audition. Final auditions are closed to the public, but news media is invited to attend.
