Head Coach Nate McMillan shares his gameday routine with SUPERSONICS.COM:

8:00 - I like to watch videotape of our opponents and meet with the Sonics coaching staff at the arena. I tend to drink a lot of coffee on game days.

10:00 - Shootaround time.

12:00 - I’m back at home relaxing.

2:00 - Around this time, I’m watching tape at the house and I’ll eventually decided what to wear for the game that night.

4:00 - I arrive at KeyArena focused on the game.

5:00 - At this point, I spend some time alone watching tape and strategizing.

5:30 - This is the time during pregame I talk with the media, answering questions about our team and our opponent.

6:15 - With less than an hour before tipoff, I address the players in our locker room about the night’s matchup.

7:00 - GAME TIME.

10:00 - Time for my first meal of the day. I never eat on game day until after the game. Then I wind down.
