Blue Alliance Spotlight - Sean Clay

How did you get started as a Blue Alliance Captain?

When the Thunder officially announced the new project of the Blue Alliance, I thought that it was a fantastic idea that could really get fans involved on the local level. I knew that it was definitely something that I could do to spread the Thunder fever I have to those around me!

What got you hooked on the Thunder?

I've always been a really big basketball fan. From the day I found out we were getting our team team I was excited, but I never would've guessed how incredibly involved the Thunder would become in the community around our state. My family and I really feel like part of the team, instead of just being fans.

How many members do you have in your Blue Alliance Chapter?

113 members and rising

What’s been your favorite moment as a Blue Alliance Captain?

Having watch parties with my chapter and seeing everyone really get into the game and contests that we have. I've been lucky enough to watch people who weren't even really basketball fans turn into hard-core Thunder fans!

What’s your top goal for your chapter this season?

My top goal is to ensure I serve my chapter and exceed my members' expectations with more watch parties, group nights at games and different contests to add to the mix. Basically, to make sure each season is more fun than the last.

How many pieces of Thunder gear do you own?

An obscene amount, haha! Four hats, two jerseys, two polos, 19 T-shirts, car mats, decals, Thunder license plate, glasses, decorations, etc. Some would say I have a problem, others would say I'm dedicated.
