You never know who’ll turn out to be a Thunder fan.
In Oklahoma City last month to receive the “Reflections of Hope Award” by the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, former President Bill Clinton noted that he has really enjoyed watching the Thunder play this season. Clinton, a longtime hoops enthusiast, said he’s particularly fond of the team since Oklahoma is neighbor to his home state of Arkansas. He stopped short of singling out a favorite player, but said he’s especially impressed by Jeff Green, pointing out that both were Georgetown Hoyas.
A Thunder representative presented Clinton with a customized Thunder jersey, complete with “Clinton 1” emblazoned on its back.
