Oklahoma City, Monday, Aug. 25, 2014 – The Oklahoma City Thunder is seeking energetic and talented fans to be a part of the game-night show at Chesapeake Energy Arena as members of the team’s official interactive squad, the Storm Chasers, the team announced today.
Storm Chasers auditions are scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 6 p.m. at the Thunder corporate office, 208 Thunder Drive, in Oklahoma City.
The Storm Chasers keep fans excited and engaged at Thunder home games during pregame, timeouts, promotions and other game breaks. The team showcases individuals with a variety of talents, from acrobatic dunking to dancing. The team also makes community appearances in support of Thunder programs and events.
Ideal candidates are energetic and charismatic individuals with unique talents and skills to help connect with fans and maintain a high level of excitement at the arena and during other Thunder events.
“The Storm Chasers are an important part of our fans’ game-night experience,” said John Leach, director of Events and Entertainment for the Thunder. “We want to maintain a high-energy and exciting environment for fans at our home games, and the Storm Chasers make outstanding ambassadors who help provide a fun and entertaining atmosphere.”
