Thunder to Begin Round 2 on Sunday
Tickets for Games 1 and 2 go on sale at 10 a.m. SaturdayOklahoma City, Friday, May 3, 2013 – Tickets for Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Playoffs second-round series between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Memphis Grizzlies will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, the team announced today.
Game 1 of the best-of-seven series will tip off at Chesapeake Energy Arena at noon on Sunday. Date and time for Game 2 have yet to be determined.
Tickets will be available through Ticketmaster, via a link at THUNDER.NBA.COM. In order to best serve our local fan base, Ticketmaster sales will be limited to fans in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Kansas.
LOVE’S THUNDER ALLEY: Love’s Thunder Alley will begin at 10 a.m. on Sunday. The family-friendly pregame festival will include a sport court, skills-and-drills station, inflatable games, appearances by the Thunder Girls and Thunder Drummers, face painting, photo stations, DJ booth and more.
Prior to every home playoff game, the Thunder will give away 50 pairs of tickets through the Kia Thunder Rewards Zone. Registration for the Kia Thunder Rewards Zone begins three hours before every Thunder home game at the table on the north side of the arena. Fans can also preregister online at THUNDER.NBA.COM, then confirm their registration at the table. The ticket drawing will take place one hour before tipoff.
Love’s Thunder Alley will conclude at tipoff. Fans are encouraged to follow THUNDER.NBA.COM for game-day updates in case of severe weather.
AUCTION: Fans attending Game 1 can stop by the Thunder Cares auction tables outside of Section 120. The team will auction Thunder-autographed items, as well as other signed sports memorabilia, to benefit the Thunder Cares Foundation. For Game 1, fans will have an opportunity to bid on an opportunity for their child to be an honorary captain during Game 2.
TUNE IN: Sunday’s game will be televised live exclusively on ABC. The 14-station Thunder Radio Network, led by WWLS-The Sports Animal, will also carry the game.
