The Thunder seeks to enrich communities in the Greater Oklahoma City Metro and across the state by supporting organizations with initiatives in children’s literacy and education, youth and family development, and health and fitness. We are asked to support hundreds of worthwhile charitable causes each year, and while we try to accommodate as many requests as possible, due to the high volume we receive, we simply cannot fulfill every one.
Forms of support include in-kind donations for the fund-raising efforts of qualifying non-profit agencies, Rolling Thunder Book Bus visits, and a limited number of appearances by Thunder players and coaches during the regular season. Select members of the Thunder business staff are also part of the Thunder Speakers Bureau and are available to address community groups.
