READ TO ACHIEVE AT TULAKES ELEMENTARY - OCTOBER 22, 2009
The Oklahoma City Thunder officially launched its 2009-10 Read to Achieve initiative, presented by American Fidelity Assurance Company, at a Reading Time Out at Tulakes Elementary School. Thunder players Nick Collison and Ryan Bowen read to more than 80 second grade students at the school to launch the initiative. PHOTOS

The Thunder Community Relations Department works to create programs and partnerships that make a positive impact on the greater Oklahoma City community. Our primary focus is on youth, with an emphasis on reading and literacy, health and fitness, and youth basketball.
