Itís a statewide crisis Rodney Bivens has spent his entire professional life working to alleviate. Growing up in poverty and hunger himself, Bivens formed the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma in 1980. With a powerful network of donors, volunteers, corporations, schools, and more, the Food Bank collects and provides enough food to feed 77-thousand people per day. In 30 years it has distributed more than 321 million pounds of food to needy families. Bivens is the Food Bankís founder and leader, but heís quick to turn the attention and credit back to the team of volunteers who help make it happen, with the rallying cry....Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope.
