The 14th annual NBA All-Star Technology Summit will take place in Houston on Friday morning, February 15th. The Summit provides an opportunity for an invitation-only group of industry leaders to engage in a series of conversations about the future of sports, media and technology.

This year we'll first take advantage of our being in Houston by calling on Dr. F. Michael Naderi, Director for Solar System Exploration at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, who will give us an insider's look at the latest technological advances that are making it possible to capture, analyze and transmit from Mars massive high resolution image files and data. He'll also share with us NASA's next generation of tools for managing "media."

Closer to home, we will explore "the next digital frontier" in sports across a variety of digital fields and technologies, from the uses and implications of "big data," mobile and tablet technologies, to video platforms and arenas. We will close this year's Summit with a one-on-one session featuring Dick Costolo, CEO of Twitter, who will discuss the new boundaries Twitter is establishing in media, social networks and content distribution.

Guiding the discussions will be CNN's Wolf Blitzer, Poppy Harlow, John King, Soledad O'Brien, and Ernie Johnson.
