John PleasantsChief Executive Officer Revolution Health As chief executive officer, John Pleasants is responsible for the operations, acquisitions and performance of Revolution Health Group. Revolution, which was launched in April by AOL co-founder Steve Case, seeks to transform America's health care system by giving consumers more choice, more control and more convenience. Prior to his current position, Pleasants served as president and chief executive officer of Ticketmaster from 2003-2005. Ticketmaster is a division of IAC/InterActiveCorp, where he held multiple leadership positions. Pleasants served as IAC/InterActiveCorp's president of information systems and chief executive officer of Ticketmaster from 2000-2003. In this capacity he was responsible for multiple divisions, including Ticketmaster, Citysearch, Match.com, Entertainment Publications, Inc. and Evite. Pleasants began his career at IAC/InterActiveCorp in 1996 as the general manager of new markets at Citysearch. Before joining Ticketmaster and IAC/InterActiveCorp, Pleasants served in various management positions with PepsiCo's Frito-Lay and Hygiene Industries, a New York-based textile manufacturer. In addition to his role as chief executive officer of Revolution Health, Pleasants also serves on the boards of directors for Extend Benefits, a provider of individual and family benefits solutions to corporate America, and the Artists Den, which supports the discovery of new music by showcasing musicians from around the globe in unique, intimate venues.
