Peter Moore was appointed president of EA SPORTS in September 2007, taking over strategic leadership of one of the most recognized brands in sports and entertainment. Moore is responsible for product development, global product management, marketing and planning for all packaged goods and online offerings within the EA SPORTS brand, which includes blockbuster video-game franchises such as NBA Live, Madden NFL, FIFA Soccer, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR and more.

Moore has more than 25 years of leadership experience in entertainment and consumer products. Prior to joining EA, he was corporate vice president of Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business, where he was responsible for leading both the Xbox and Games for Windows businesses, driving games development at Microsoft Game Studios, and cultivating relationships with third-party game publishers and developers around the world.

Before joining Microsoft, Moore served as president and chief operating officer at SEGA of America, where he was responsible for SEGA’s video-game business in North America. He played a pivotal role in the company’s decision to change its business strategy and become a platform agnostic software publisher.

Moore began his career at Patrick USA, the U.S. subsidiary of the popular French sportswear company. He then spent seven years (1992-99) at Reebok, serving as senior vice president of marketing and overseeing a staff of 450.
