panelist Alan S. Cohen Vice President, Enterprise Solutions Cisco Systems, Inc. Alan S. Cohen is vice president of enterprise solutions at Cisco, where he is responsible for developing and driving Cisco’s global enterprise market strategy. His efforts focus on providing marketing programs, messages and content to support Cisco’s $26 billion technology portfolio of foundation, advanced and emerging products and technologies in the enterprise and mid-market sectors. Cohen has 19 years of experience breaking new ground in the communications and software industry. He is recognized as a leader in the areas of collaboration, business transformation, and the future of work. Prior to assuming his current position, Cohen led Cisco’s Mobility Solutions group, where he was responsible for guiding adoption of Cisco’s wireless portfolio and developing the corresponding applications and services. He also led product management for Cisco’s Wireless Business Unit, launching the Cisco Unified Architecture and bringing it to a leading position in the industry, including passing the $1 billion annual sales threshold. Before joining Cisco, Cohen served as vice president of marketing and product management at Airespace, a pioneering wireless LAN systems company acquired by Cisco. He was an e-commerce pioneer at IBM, building and launching some of their first products, including the IBM World Distributor, World Avenue, and net.Commerce. He also launched IBM’s first sport league partnerships with the NHL and NBA. |
