Chris Bosh
Forward, Toronto Raptors
Chris Bosh earned his fourth consecutive NBA All-Star selection this season, solidifying his status as one of the top forwards in the NBA. Bosh, who has led the Raptors in points per game three straight seasons, is scoring at a career-best clip this season.
The 6-foot 10-inch Bosh joined the Raptors in 2003, after Toronto selected him with the fourth overall pick in the NBA Draft. He averaged 11.5 points and 7.4 rebounds per game in 2003-04 to garner NBA All-Rookie First Team honors. In 2006-07, Bosh was named to the All-NBA Second Team after tallying 22.6 points and 10.7 rebounds per game while leading the Raptors to their first Atlantic Division title. Last season, he averaged 22.3 points per game to propel Toronto to a second consecutive playoff berth.
Bosh came to the Raptors from Georgia Tech, where he led the Yellow Jackets in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots, and field goal percentage in his only season at the school. He became an Internet celebrity during the 2007-08 season after posting a humorous YouTube video in which he trumpeted his All-Star credentials to fans around the world. |
