Charles Barkley
TNT NBA Analyst, Turner Sports

Charles Barkley, a 2006 inductee into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, is in his eighth season as an NBA studio analyst for the Emmy Award-winning Inside the NBA on TNT.

Barkley played for the Philadelphia 76ers (1984-1992), Phoenix Suns (1992-1996) and Houston Rockets (1996-2000) during his 16 seasons in the NBA. He earned five All-NBA First Team selections and 11 NBA All-Star Game invitations, and received the 1992-93 NBA Most Valuable Player Award. He was the leading scorer for the U.S. teams that won gold medals at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics.

One of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History, Barkley scored 23,757 points, the 16th-highest total in league annals. He is one of only four players (along with Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone) to amass more than 23,000 points, 12,000 rebounds and 4,000 assists.

Barkley has appeared in several films, including Hot Shots!, Look Who’s Talking Now, Forget Paris, Space Jam and He Got Game. In 2002 he wrote his memoir, I May Be Wrong, But I Doubt It, and was aptly named “Personality of the Year” by Sports Illustrated later that year. His latest book, Who’s Afraid of A Large Black Man, was published in 2005.
