GAME NOTES
- Tonight’s game is the second of four meetings between the Washington Wizards and Chicago
Bulls. The Bulls won the first meeting, 103-96, on November 13th in Chicago. The two
teams will meet again on February 28th in Washington, and on March 15th in Chicago.
- Last game versus Charlotte...The Wizards defeated the Charlotte Bobcats, 108-75, at Verizon
Center on December 20th...Washington outscored Charlotte, 31-11, and held the Bobcats to
one field goal in the third quarter to take a 25-point lead….Nick Young led all scorers with 21
points...Kirk Hinrich recorded his second straight double-double with 18 points and 11 assists...
Andray Blatche scored 19 points and five rebounds...JaVale McGee scored 10 points
and blocked five shots.
- The Wizards 33 point victory over Charlotte marked their largest victory since defeating the
Seattle SuperSonics, 137-96, on November 11, 2005.
- The last time the Wizards held an opponent to 75 points or less in a game was December 29,
2007. The Wizards defeated the Heat, 96-74, in Washington.
- The Wizards held Charlotte to one field goal made in the third quarter. The last time Washington
held an opponent to one field goal made in a quarter was April 12, 2008. The Wizards
held the 76ers to one field goal in the fourth quarter of their, 109-93, victory at Verizon Center.
- Nick Young is averaging 22.2 points per game over his last five games. Young has scored 20
or more points in four straight games for the first time in his career.
