Kings Production Team Earns Ninth Emmy Award

-- Team's senior vice president, Craig Amazeen, honored for 'The Pledge of the Kings Guard' --

SACRAMENTO – The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has awarded a 2013 Emmy Award in the category of "Commercial: Single Spot or Campaign" to Sacramento Kings Senior Vice President of Broadcasting, Brand Development and New Media Craig Amazeen and Chris Murray, lead editor/producer at Sacramento post-production house Trapeze, for Outstanding Achievement and Excellence in the production of "The Pledge of the Kings Guard."

"I'm extremely proud and honored to be recognized by the Academy for 'The Pledge of the Kings Guard,'" said Amazeen of the commercial that aired on local TV leading up to the 2012-13 season. "Our production standards are at an all-time high thanks to the incredible talent within our organization.

"Also, a special thank you to Chris Murray and the entire group at Trapeze for their invaluable partnership."

The accolade marks the ninth time under Amazeen's leadership in which the Kings have been recognized by NATAS.
