2005-06 Cleveland Cavaliers Season to be Presented by Cub Cadet Premium Lawn Equipment

CLEVELAND, September 2nd -The Cleveland Cavaliers announced today that their 2005-06 season will be presented by Cub Cadet Premium Lawn Equipment. The season-long presenting partnership is the first-ever for the Cavaliers and the first of its kind for Cleveland's major league teams. The Cavaliers are currently one of only four NBA teams with season presenting partners (Pistons/ROCK Financial, Raptors/Bank of Montreal, Spurs/HEB). Cub Cadet is a premium product line of Valley City, Ohio-based MTD.

"It has been a very exciting process to develop this unique relationship with a local company. The season presenter is a very special partner relationship that needed just the right partner. The more we talked with Cub Cadet, the more we realized we had many of the same brand traits and business positions. Cub Cadet has great momentum within their industry and the Cavaliers certainly do within ours. We think it is a great match," said Cavaliers Operating Company President Len Komoroski.

The relationship represents a highly comprehensive partnership between the team and Cub Cadet and will also include any Cavaliers playoff games. While specific terms of the partnership were not disclosed, the length of the agreement will cover multiple future Cavaliers seasons. The representation of the relationship will commence immediately via team marketing materials.
