PARTY OF FIVE – We'd like to take this opportunity to wish Manitoba-native Scott Bairstow a happy birthday and pay homage to his two-season run on Party of Five, while also saluting the five-block party that's been going on at the BC in recent weeks. The Bucks have posted 5+ blocks in nine of their last 10 games, led by the shot-swatting duo of Larry Sanders and Ekpe Udoh. Sanders has led Milwaukee in blocks a team-high 24 times, while Udoh boasts a league-leading 25 multi-block games as a reserve this season.

SUPERBAD SUPERGOOD – Even Brampton-native Michael Cera would appreciate how well Sup-Ersan lyasova has played this season, as the fourth-year forward is posting career highs in scoring (12.9 ppg), rebounding (8.7 rpg), FG% (.491), 3P% (.454), 20-point games (11) and double-doubles (19). What makes Ersan stand out as a Most Improved candidate, though, is that he's accomplished it all in just 27.4 minutes per game (just two additional minutes than his previous career high). Ersan has been so efficient in his minutes this season that he's on pace to become the first player to average 12 points and eight rebounds in under 28 minutes per game since a pair of Hall of Famers did so in the early '90s:

What is ERSANITY! – It's probably how Sudbury's Alex Trebek would describe the historic night Ilyasova produced in Newark on Feb. 19. Ersan erupted for career highs of 29 points and 25 rebounds in Milwaukee's win over the Nets, becoming the first Bucks player in over 30 years to tally 25+ points and rebounds in a single game. Ilyasova becomes just the third member of the 25/25 club in Bucks history, joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Swen Nater

COMPLICATED – Avril Lavigne may find things needlessly confusing, but there's nothing complicated about the impact Mike Dunleavy has had on the Bucks offense this season. Milwaukee currently ranks in the top-half of the league in scoring (99.7 ppg, T4th), 100-point games (33, 4th) and offensive rating (103.1, T12th), after finishing 30th in all three categories a season ago. A major reason for the improvement has been the scoring off the bench from Dunleavy. The veteran has led a 2nd-unit that ranks T7th in the league at 34.1 bench points per game, and his 22 games this season with 10+ points on 50% or better shooting as a reserve is 6th in the league. Dunleavy shot 56.9% from the field during March, the best mark in the month for a guard, and his 54.4% accuracy from behind the arc for the month led the league. Dunleavy is at 40.9% from three on the season, the 20th-best mark in the NBA.

• One Week – Even Scarbourough, Ontario rockers Barenaked Ladies would appreciate the week the Bucks just had at the free-throw line. Milwaukee averaged 32.3 FTAs per game in three contests last week, including a season-high-tying 37 vs. New Jersey. The Bucks have posted 30+ FTAs eight times this season (6-2 in those games).
  
  
• Clockwork Angels – In honour of the upcoming Rush album, we'd like to quickly note how little clock Ersan Ilyasova has been using while racking up his 19 double-doubles this season. Of the 25 players in the league with 19+ double-doubles, nobody has averaged fewer minutes per game than Ilyasova (27.4).
  
  
• Unlike the new Tim Horton's coffee cup sizes, there's been no confusion surrounding the extra-large jump in the Bucks offence this season. Milwaukee now ranks 3rd in the NBA in assists per game (23.67) and 4th in points per game (99.7), after ranking 30th in both of those categories last season.
