NBA All-Star Sweepstakes

1. To Enter: NO PURCHASE OR OBLIGATION NECESSARY to enter or win this sweepstakes. Void where prohibited. Sweepstakes runs from December 1, 2007 through January 2, 2008. To enter without purchase or obligation, complete entry form on the Southwest Airlines (the “Sponsor”) Web Site or National Basketball Association (the “NBA”) Web Site (www.southwest.com/nba or www.nba.com/). Incomplete entries are not eligible. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. C.S.T., January 2, 2008. Entries limited to one (1) per person. Use of automated devices is not valid for entry. Contestants must provide a valid e-mail address. In the event of a dispute over identity of the on-line entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by holder of the e-mail account on the date the entry was submitted.

2. Drawing: On or about January 3, 2008, a random drawing from all eligible entries received will be conducted. Prize is guaranteed to be awarded. Entrants need not be present to win. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

3. Prize: Two (2) Grand Prizes to consist of roundtrip air travel on Southwest Airlines from closest major airport to winner’s residence served by Southwest Airlines on published scheduled service (subject to Southwest Airlines terms and conditions; certain restrictions may apply) for winner and guest to New Orleans, LA; three (3) nights double occupancy hotel accommodations for winner and guest; Officially licensed NBA All-Star Merchandise, a game of H.O.R.S.E. with NBA players and/or Legends at NBA Jam Session (subject to change), NBA All-Star Saturday Night tickets, NBA Jam Session tickets and NBA All-Star Game tickets for winner and guest. Winner and guest will depart on Friday, February 15, 2008 and return Monday, February 18, 2008. Other expenses not specifically mentioned herein, including, but not limited to, ground transportation to and from the airport, parking fees, food, beverages, gratuities, personal purchases, and all other expenses are the responsibility of the winner.

Approximate Retail Value of each Grand Prize is $3,140. (Need to confirm this is from last year; 2 SWA tickets are $800)

No substitutions, cash equivalents or transfers of prize permitted, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Winner and travel companion must travel on dates specified by Sponsor. Exact dates are at the discretion of Sponsor. All persons must depart and return to same airport. Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash.

4. Eligibility: Sweepstakes open to all legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States, 21 years and older as of January 2, 2008. Employees of Southwest Airlines Co., its advertising and promotions agencies, NBA Properties, Inc., NBA Media Ventures LLC, The NBA and its member teams (the “NBA Entities”), Turner Sports, Inc. (“TSI”), and their immediate families (spouse and parents, children and siblings and their spouses) and individuals living in the same households of such employees are ineligible. Entrants must have Internet access as of December 1, 2007. Sweepstakes subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. By participating, entrants agree to these official rules and accept decisions of the Sponsor as final. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law. This promotion is offered in the United States only and shall only be construed and evaluated according to United States law. Do not proceed in this site if you are not located in the United States.

5. To Claim Prize: Winner only will be notified by phone and/or certified mail and will be required to complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and, where legal, a Publicity Release, which must be returned within seven (7) days after prize notification or prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. If prize notification letter is returned undeliverable, or if the prize is not claimed, the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner in a random drawing. Each Grand Prize winner’s guest, or if minor(s) their parent(s)/legal guardian(s), must execute Liability Releases, and where legal, Publicity Releases prior to the issuance of travel documents. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited) to use winner’s name, hometown and likeness for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity in any media without additional compensation.

6. Limitation of Liability: Neither Sponsor, the NBA Entities, TSI, nor their affiliated entities, are responsible for printing or typographical errors in any sweepstakes related materials; or transactions that are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction. Winner is solely responsible for payment of all federal, state, and local taxes on prize and for any travel or other expenses not specifically mentioned in prize description. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify Sweepstakes if fraud or technical failure compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.

This sweepstakes offer is being made exclusively by Sponsor. The NBA Entities, TSI and each of their respective affiliates, officers, directors, agents, and employees will have no liability or responsibility for any loss, injury or harm arising in connection with their participation in this sweepstakes or any prize awarded. The NBA Entities or TSI has not offered or sponsored this sweepstakes in any way.

Sponsor is not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone failures of any kind; lost or unavailable network connections or fraud; incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission whether caused by Sponsor, user, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion or by any technical or human error which may occur in the process of submissions which may limit a participant’s ability to participate in this promotion.

Winner recipient assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused by participation in this sweepstakes or use or redemption of any prize/offer.

By entering, entrant agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Southwest Airlines Co., the NBA Entities, TSI, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees, and agents against any and all liability, damages, or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of (i) entrant’s participation in the sweepstakes, (ii) the receipt or use of the prizes/offers awarded herein.

7. Winner’s List: Winner’s Name List will be published on Southwest Airlines Web Site (www.southwest.com/nba) after January 31, 2008.
