The Phoenix Suns announced their 2012-13 television broadcast schedule today, which will allow fans to see all 82 regular season games on the team’s exclusive local television partner, FOX Sports Arizona, or on one of the NBA’s national broadcasts. Suns fans will once again enjoy every telecast in High Definition (HD).

FOX Sports Arizona and FOX Sports Arizona Plus will combine to televise a total of 80 Suns games this season, including the club’s 2012 home opener on Wednesday, October 31 against the Golden State Warriors. FOX Sports Arizona will feature both games against the defending NBA Champion, Miami Heat, as well as all highly anticipated matchups against Western Conference rivals, Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs. Each broadcast features a pregame and halftime show, as well as a “Suns Live, presented by CenturyLink” postgame show immediately following each telecast, featuring game highlights and analysis.

For the second consecutive season, FOX Sports Arizona will televise all non-exclusive, nationally televised regular-season Suns games. FOX Sports Arizona began televising Suns games in 2003-04 and will have the opportunity to televise select playoff games as well.

The Suns will appear on national television five times this season, including two appearances on TNT, two on NBA TV, and one on ESPN.

The Suns recently hired new TV play-by-play announcer Steve Albert, who will work alongside color analyst Eddie Johnson during broadcasts on FOX Sports Arizona. Ann Meyers Drysdale will fill in for Johnson to provide analysis for a select number of games. Tom Chambers and Tom Leander will handle pregame, halftime and postgame show duties.

For the 45th-straight season, Suns fans can also tune in to the team’s flagship radio station, Arizona Sports 620 (KTAR-AM), with the “Voice of the Suns” Al McCoy calling play-by-play action and Tim Kempton providing analysis. Arturo Ochoa and Ivan Valenzuela will broadcast all Suns regular-season games in Spanish on KSUN 1400 AM Spanish Radio.
