The Phoenix Suns, in partnership with Southwest Airlines, have announced “Club Orange,” a comprehensive new loyalty program for the team’s digital fans. A first-of-its-kind platform in the NBA, Club Orange was designed to thank and reward fans for supporting and interacting with the team via its lineup of online, social and mobile channels.

Upon registering at, members of Club Orange can earn points for more than a dozen different activities in the digital space, including: liking the Suns on Facebook, retweeting the team’s official Twitter accounts, using Suns-approved hashtags, commenting on the team’s Instagram photos, checking into home games at US Airways Center via Foursquare, watching the team play on television broadcasts, utilizing the Suns’ mobile app, and even playing the team’s new online fantasy game. Additional points can be accumulated for interacting with Southwest Airlines’ social channels, as well.

Club Orange points can then be redeemed for more than 150 different prizes such as autographed jerseys, bobble-heads and Suns memorabilia, or for entries into several random grand prize drawings, including courtside seats to a game and a $500 Southwest gift card. One fan will even win the opportunity to come down and have their photo taken with the entire Suns’ team, while another will receive pizzas from Streets of New York personally delivered to their workplace by the Suns Gorilla.

“We have fans throughout the state and throughout the country, who are regularly visiting our websites, talking about the Suns on their favorite social networks and now following our games via their mobile devices,” said Suns Vice President of Digital, Jeramie McPeek. “Club Orange gives us an opportunity to show our appreciation for their support and for their participation in our digital programs.”

The team’s digital fan club was developed in conjunction with Row27, a digital sports marketing agency based in Minnesota
