Suns Host Holiday Celebration and Clippers

Posted: Dec. 21, 2012

Tis’ the season to don ugly holiday sweaters, hang strings of lights, and lace up your sneakers.

To culminate the Phoenix Suns’ “All for Giving” holiday campaign, the team is transforming US Airways Center into a winter wonderland for the Suns-Clippers matchup on Sunday (December 23).

The holiday celebration, which will take place on the US Airways Center plaza beginning at 4:30 p.m., is open to the public free of charge.

Suns fans will enjoy dazzling bright lights, as well as the opportunity to sip hot cocoa, sing along with Christmas Carolers and visit with Santa Claus to secure the last few items on their wish lists.

Game tickets will be needed for entry into US Airways Center.

In addition, DJ Dizzie will be on the plaza spinning holiday favorites as children and their families make holiday crafts and take pictures with the Suns Gorilla.

The Phoenix Suns’ “All for Giving” initiative has included community events and projects aimed at spreading holiday cheer and Suns spirit throughout the Valley. As part of the holiday campaign, Suns’ players, coaches, wives, alumni and staff have served our community by offering support to Valley children, families and those in need.

Single-game tickets for Sunday’s Suns-Clippers matchup are still available and can be purchased at Suns.com/tickets, or by phone at 1-800-4NBA-TIX. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. Fans who are unable to attend can tune in to FOX Sports Arizona, the exclusive television partner of the Phoenix Suns.
