Posted: August 6, 2012

The Phoenix Suns, in partnership with Harkins Theatres and Coca-Cola, will host a “Back-to-School Backpack Drive” on Saturday, August 11 and Sunday, August 12. The campaign will supply Communities in Schools, an organization dedicated to empowering Valley youth to stay in school, with backpacks and school supplies for the 2012-2013 school year. Coca-Cola is proud to connect two long-standing partners, Harkins Theaters and the Phoenix Suns, as an ongoing way to promote its Live Positively philosophy by giving back to the community.

Fans will receive two free Ultimate VIP admission tickets to a Harkins movie of their choice for a backpack donation filled with school supplies including crayons, spiral notebooks, pencils and glue sticks.

Suns rookie and first round draft pick Kendall Marshall, along with head coach Alvin Gentry, will make special appearances at the Scottsdale Harkins Theatres location on Saturday, August 11.
