Posted: Dec. 13, 2012

The Phoenix Suns are bringing back one of the club’s most popular jerseys, the retro black uniforms that the Suns sported from 1994-2000.

As one of seven NBA teams chosen for the league’s Hardwood Classics campaign, the Suns will wear the black and orange jersey 10 times during the 2012-13 season, and for the first time when they face the Los Angeles Lakers on January 30 at US Airways Center.

Though the old school look won’t be available in the Suns Team Shop until February, the team is offering fans an opportunity to claim their own retro jersey beginning Tuesday (December 18) at 10 a.m., when single-game tickets for the second half of the season go on sale. Fans that purchase $299 in single-game tickets for games’ February – April will receive an official Hardwood Classics jersey, while supplies last.

Suns’ SixthMan Members will receive special pre-sale access and pricing ($269) beginning Monday (December 17) at 10 a.m. Additional fans are encouraged to sign up for the club’s e-newsletter, In the Post, at Suns.com to enjoy pre-sale access beginning Monday at 12 p.m. (Noon).

Single-game tickets will be available online at Suns.com/retro, by phone at 1-800-4NBA-TIX, at the US Airways Center ticket office and at all Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets start at just $10.
